The semi mounted LED recessed down lights are being sold and use increasingly today (refer to picture below). The rationale for LED lightings is to lower long run cost and maintain similar light output. It is said that LED lightings theoretically can last 5 times longer than existing fluorescent lights.
So after the initial homework, what do you do if it fails just after your 2 - 3 years warranty? Do you change the whole fixture or re-engage an electrician? I have a strong premonition that the industry will crash once most first time users start to have their LED light fixtures failing. You would probably change back to fluorescent since it is cheaper and convenient.
I have a solution to overcome the above problem. LED lightings that maximises user's benefits.
The adoption of our Kratos LED corn bulb below.
1. It comes in PLC (G24D) or E27 base.
2. It uses existing fixture and fittings for conventional energy saving bulb.
3. You can leave the existing wiring (including ballast and starter) alone and plug in our LED bulb directly.
Instantly you can start saving 50% or more for your lights consumption. Whats more, our bulbs are affordable at $18.00 - $25.00. You can just buy and fix it back at home yourself : )
Most importantly, the ownership for your home lighting and the LEDs becomes truly yours. ANY time you wish to change the bulb, you can do it. It will be just like old times in terms of effort. It is this that will surely save you future trouble and save on cost.
