I chanced upon this awesome building with LED lights facade. It is the Galleria Dept Store in South Korea, Apgujung-dong. This marvellous display of lights consisting of 5000 colour changing LEDs is designed by Mr Rogier vander Heide. The advancement in LED technology has allow us to add to our world moving vivid colours!
It is really amazing how we can employ lights to enhance our environment and emotions.

On The Straits Times: Green Mark certification scheme extends to supermarkets, retailers

We have all witness the gradual appearance of LED lights in chillers and display cases in both super markets and convenience stores across Singapore. As the use of LED lights becomes more common, it will eventually bring the prices much lower. That said, the logic behind this implementation is the reduced electricity consumed.
Greenmark certification scheme definitely adds on to the credibility for LED lights usage. An industry champion like this is much essential to bring everyone on board. Cheers!
